Were looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Applied AI team. In this role, youll be at the forefront of designing and implementing AI solutions from AI agents and large language models (LLMs) to more traditional machine learning approaches. Youll combine strong software engineering and cloud expertise with AI know-how to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-relevant applications. In This Role, You Will Be

• Designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions, spanning agents, RAGs, and other machine learning systems.
• Building and scaling cloud-native applications, preferably in Azure
• Applying strong software engineering practices, including version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Working with MLOps to deploy, monitor, and maintain ML systems in production
• Designing solutions in a structured and systematic way, balancing technical and business perspectives
• Integrating with different types of APIs (REST, event-driven, custom)
• Working with databases and SQL

• 4+ years of experience in software or data applications with an AI/ML focus
• Experience with AI agents and large language models (LLMs)
• Strong cloud development background (Azure preferred)
• Strong skills in Python and modern software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD)
• MLOps experience deploying and operating ML systems in production
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, and SQL
• Structured problem-solving that balances technical feasibility with business needs
• Fluent English skills (written & spoken)
• Educational background in e.g. computer science, applied mathematics, engineering
  
  

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerisation for reproducible, scalable environments (e.g. Terraform, Docker)
• Familiarity with PyTorch, LangChain/LlamaIndex, deep learning, and LLM evaluation frameworks
• Experience working with data platforms and architectures (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, event streams, data warehouses)
• Background in structured testing methodologies to ensure solution reliability
• Prior leadership or consulting experience, with the ability to guide teams and advise stakeholders
• Industry experience in sectors such as heavy machinery, power generation, or manufacturing
