At Hiab, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. If you thrive on exciting challenges, cutting-edge technologies, and collaborating with brilliant minds, then this is the perfect role for you.

 

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality software projects and possesses a deep understanding of programming languages, data structures, and algorithms.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

• Working as a part of a software development team to create world class training solutions for different external and internal customers
• Designing and developing software such as VR Simulators and training related applications
• Taking responsibility and technical ownership of selected software development areas
• Gaining and maintaining a strong understanding of Hiab product functionality & how to properly represent this functionality in virtual environments
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems and technical documentation
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

• Master’s or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar field.

 

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience working professionally with Unity
• Experience of agile development and scrum methodologies
• Experience in any of the following fields will be considered as an advantage: video game or simulation development, development of training and educational methodologies or heavy machinery or industrial applications.

 

Competencies

• Team player
• Strong problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and proactively
• Ability to work with external partners
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required.

 

Technical skills

• C#/.NET, Unity, VR/AR/MR/XR, Technical documentation, Git, Plastic or similar version control
• Beneficial would be- ASP.NET, React, MySQL, AWS.
