We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer to join the Thruster Systems business unit. In this role, you will play a central part in developing advanced AI solutions for maritime applications, with a particular focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based models. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions, contributing to both local and global initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on, detail-oriented expertise and mindset combined with the ability to drive innovation and foster collaboration across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Development, integration and testing of advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agent models.
• Creating and validating new innovative machine learning based approaches together with internal and external software development teams
• Contributing to the design and architecture of scalable AI systems

Qualifications

• A bachelors degree or higher in software development or engineering discipline
• Broad experience developing machine learning/deep learning or generative AI models and software solutions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel as required
