Interested in becoming a Senior Full Stack Developer at Siili?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our long-running engagements in the financial technology domain. You will become part of a hybrid team of seasoned siilis delivering secure and scalable digital services with modern cloud-native approaches. In this role, you will be employed in open client projects within the financial sector. This role requires some on-site presence in Helsinki. In your role, you will focus on developing backend-heavy solutions that are central to critical business processes. The work includes building APIs, designing integrations, containerizing applications, and ensuring observability and stability through DevOps practices.

We work in agile DevOps teams that value collaboration and continuous improvement. Your role can evolve based on your interests whether its deeper into cloud architecture, DevOps automation or taking a lead developers path. We appreciate a hands-on, proactive mindset but youll always be supported by your team and our wider community.

Are you the next new Siili?

We are looking for professionals with 7+ years of experience in software development and cloud platforms, who enjoy solving complex problems and building real-world solutions.

To succeed in this role:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot (+5 years)

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React and Kotlin

• Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure, including container-based development (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with DevOps mindset and tooling, such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and IaC

• API development and integration know-how (REST, Kafka, Apigee)

• Understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL or DB2

• Experience working in agile teams with tools like Jira and Confluence

Working proficiency in Finnish and English is required

Additionally, its beneficial if you have:

• Experience with Node.js

• Knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Loadrunner)

• Experience with AI tools and cloud certifications

• Previous experience working in the financial sector
