We develop and support content creation tools for 750 journalists working for Sanoma Media Finland newspapers (e.g. Helsingin Sanomat, Ilta-Sanomat) and magazines (e.g. MeNaiset, Gloria, ET-lehti). We work with editorial rooms, digital service development teams and other business units.

Personalization team develops and operates Sanoma news recommendation system, related machine learning models and ensures that its recommendations are applied across services and user interfaces.

• perience with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. On databases, you understand the characteristics of relational, vector and key-value databases, and have used MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB or others.
Cloud development. You can work yourself through in the cloud infrastructure. We are using AWS with CDK/CloudFormation, but your e
• perience can be also from GCP or Azure.
Data engineering. You understand and are interested of the usage of machine learning methods and algorithms in commercial products and have hands-on e
• perience of AWS and data pipelines, analytics and MLOps.
Technical leadership. As a senior member in the team of developers, you have been enjoying the opportunities to take the responsibility to support others and make technical and architectural decisions. You can transform business requirements into technical solutions and talk and write about comple
