Senior Frontend Developer for BeeHealthy

Our BeeHealthy frontend team is responsible for developing web applications that empower digital healthcare for both patients and practitioners by using technologies such as React, TypeScript, Material UI, RTK Query, Redux Saga, WebSocket, Zod etc. We build scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions for many clients, integrating with various healthcare services and APIs. We emphasize great UX, accessibility, and maintainability, ensuring that mobile apps provide the best possible experience for patients.
We work in an agile, cross-functional environment, collaborating with designers, other developers and product managers. The turnover rate in our company is low, and those who enjoy fast-paced development, new technologies, and a culture of ownership tend to thrive at BeeHealthy.
As our Senior Frontend Developer, you will:

Build scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions using modern technologies with a focus on exceptional UX, accessibility, and maintainability
Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile environment alongside designers, developers, and product managers
Ensure quality by adopting and promoting best practices in testing and code reviews
Actively seek for improvement opportunities across team boundaries

Must-have skills:

Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
Deep understanding of state management libraries (e.g., RTK Query, Redux Saga, RxJS) and modern validation libraries (e.g. Zod, Yup)
Experience with accessibility best practices; you know how to navigate the WCAG 2.2 and you build features and components with accessibility in mind
Experience with UI component libraries and styling solutions such as Material UI, Shadcn/UI and Tailwind
Proven ability with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and Playwright
Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with developer tools like Docker, Orbstack, and collaborative tools like Figma, FigJam
Excellent English communication skills (Finnish is a plus)

Bonus points for:

Understanding of modular app architectures and multi-tenant SaaS development
Experience with backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, MSSQL and/or Postgres)
Experience with websockets and videocall providers
Interest in AI technologies and their potential application to the healthcare sector
Knowledge of health tech, integrations, and regulatory requirements in medical apps
