We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join our rapidly growing Industrial Measurements organization at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Are you ready to build software which really makes a difference?

What's your role?

Top-notch software is what enables our customers to read crucial measurement data and make critical decisions. What is special about this position is that you would be part of the team that develops Vaisala Echo, the IoT platform for Vaisala Industrial Measurements. This means you would not only be helping our customers but also improving things at Vaisala. The platform being created will be used throughout the entire Industrial Measurements organization. Additionally, there will be constant evolution and development around the platform.

What will you bring?

• Strong experience with AWS integration with NodeJS, CDK, AWS IOT Core, AWS Lambda, Serverless Framework, AWS Kinesis Stream, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, Cloudwatch, and S3
• Fluent coding skills in TypeScript / JavaScript / REST api
• Proficiency in Serverless architecture, Event Driven Architecture, and Domain Driven Design
• Ability to work in cross-functional agile team
• Ability to take ownership and communicate effectively, coupled with an action-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  
  Seen as a plus:
  Iot Events, GraphQL, Hexagonal architecture
