What You'll Be Doing

Are you an experienced fullstack developer with passion? We share a bold vision of being the most preferred business software and solution partner for SMEs. We take pride in being the developers behind one of the largest B2B SaaS solutions in the NordicsProcountor.

We are looking for a forward-thinking senior software developer who will shape the future of Procountor as part of a scrum team and together with a collaborative network of professionals. You will participate in planning and implementing new features as well as maintaining the software. In short, You will play a key role in the journey as we continue developing market-leading financial software that empowers businesses across the Nordics.

We run Procountor in Azure and we have our own public API, which you can explore here: https://dev.procountor.com/. We value agile processes, proper release processes, and test automation. While we operate in hybrid model, we prefer if you are located in the surrounding Helsinki metropolitan area, or in Tampere or Turku, where we also have offices.

You don't need to master them all, but naturally we expect you have experience from most of these. We mention the Java version number because we appreciate that you dont want to work with ancient libraries and technologies. Neither do we.

What We Are Looking For

Were looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who thrives on building robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications that power business-critical operations. You enjoy working across the stackfrom crafting elegant user interfaces to designing resilient backend servicesand you always keep customer value at the heart of your work.

You are proficient in React on the front end and modern Java on the back end, and you write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Youre passionate about continuous learning and sharing your knowledge with others. Youve worked in cross-functional product teams and are known for your collaborative spirit and technical leadership.

Youre not just a coderyoure a problem solver who contributes to architectural decisions, mentors peers, and helps shape the way we build software. And you also know how to communicate with non-technical colleagues about customer requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing full stack applications that are intuitive, secure, and deliver real value to our users.
• Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
• Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Bridging the gap between front-end and back-end development, and tehcnical and non-technical stakeholdest to ensure seamless user experiences.

Key skills and attributes:

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and REST APIs (both consuming and designing).
• Solid experience with Java (preferably modern versions) and backend frameworks.
• Comfortable working across the full stack, with at least 5 years of professional experience in software development (including 2+ years with React).
• Familiarity with web application security best practices.
• Experience with MUI, design systems, and Storybook is a plus.
• Proven ability to mentor others, give constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
