About the job
Join our team as a Software Engineer and be part of shaping our early-stage product, in a mission-driven and startup-like team within Hoxhunt. Youll work on meaningful product and technical challenges alongside experienced colleagues who are just as excited about building something valuable as you are.
What youll do
- Take ownership of end to end feature delivery, working across the stack to design, build, and iterate in close collaboration with the team
- Design, plan, code and ship new features and improvements for the product
- Contribute to the architecture, development, and maintenance of our codebase
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to raise the bar
- Continuously participate in improving teams processes
- Continuously improve the product through experimentation, feedback, and data
Who Were Looking For
We're looking for a full-stack developer who works confidently across the stack, brings curiosity and ambition, and takes initiative. You have a product mindset, care deeply about what you build, and feel comfortable in a fast-evolving environment with a focus on continuous learning and impact.
Skills you need to succeed in this role:
- ~35 years of experience in a full-stack developer role
- Strong skills in both frontend and backend development, with a genuine interest and curiosity in working across the stack
- Familiar with our tech stack: TypeScript, React, NodeJS
- Nice to have: experience with DBs (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB), event-driven systems, GraphQL
- Ability to manage software projects of medium complexity, breaking down problems into smaller pieces and collaborating to get things done
- You take initiative and like making steady progress on real problems.

Location and salary range
This role is based out of our headquarters in Helsinki.
The salary range for the position is 45006000, depending on your skills and experience.
