About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive BI Developer to join our finance organization and take ownership of our internal Business Intelligence development. Until now, we have relied on external partners for BI development, and this role represents a strategic step toward building our in-house BI capabilities.

You will work closely with our finance and other business teams to transform data into insights that support smart, data-driven decisions. Your work will focus on developing dashboards in Power BI, utilizing data sourced from NetSuite, which flows into our Azure-based data warehouse. You will be part of the dynamic finance team, and you report directly to the Vice President, Finance. The role will be based in our head office in Helsinki or Tallinn. The position is fixed-term for 12 months. We are flexible regarding the form of collaboration and open to both employment and freelance/B2B arrangements.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business performance tracking and decision-making.
• Develop and manage data models and visualizations tailored to business needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability by monitoring and optimizing data flows.
• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
• Understand and utilize the structure of our Azure-based data warehouse.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth data integration from NetSuite and other business systems.
• Drive the transition from outsourced to in-house BI development.

What makes you one of us:

• Proven experience in BI development, ideally in a growing or transitioning environment.
• Strong skills in Power BI and SQL.
• Understanding of Azure data warehouse architecture and how to access and use data from cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with or exposure to NetSuite is a strong plus.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for data accuracy and performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with both finance and non-financial stakeholders.
• Masters degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
