We are now looking for Full Stack Developers at Knowit Solutions to strengthen our teams working on various web development projects.

In our software development projects, we work in teams, so you always have a skilled colleague from your own team by your side. Our work can be seen across various fields, such as industrial fields, energy sector, gaming, and citizen services in public sector - all of which are characterized by long-term client relationships and our role as a trusted partner.

What kind of developer and technical competence we are looking for?

We are looking for developer with a consultant's mindset. At Knowit it means for instance following attributes

 

  • Ability to present and communicate views, best practices and technical solutions for different stakeholders varying from team members to non-tech people
  • A built-in curiosity to learn, tinker with new technologies and develop yourself professionally


In technical terms, we hope you to have modern programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript based application development. We also hope you to have good abilities to write high-quality, tested and easily maintainable code, as we too have a professional pride in our work. Preferably you already have hands-on experience and insight from couple long-term application development projects (client or product) with team, and with complex and modern setting: from agile methods to cloud and DevOps.

In our agile teams, the tasks are versatile, and not everything needs to be mastered. However, if your toolkit includes following kind of tech stack, you might be the new colleague we are looking for:

  • React and Node.js
  • SQL or NoSQL databases
  • AWS (Azure and GCP will also do fine as it's easily transferable area of competence)
  • Agile methods
  • DevOps practices

As a consultant, great communication skills and fluent English are of essence. Finnish skills are plus. We are however unable to provide relocation opportunities.

Note that some of our projects may require a security clearance check by The Finnish Security and Intelligence Service. The check will always be done with consent of the person in question.

Other buzzwords related to the role and the team: Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, AI, Co-Pilot, Redux, Docker, Kubernetes, Express.js, PostgreSQL, C#.

  • Salary range for this role is 4200 - 5800e/month depending on competence and experience
